Frequently asked questions

Common answers

Do I need broadcast experience to join?

No. Gallery Foundations starts from zero. For the longer courses we simply ask that you are comfortable with computers and curious about live television or streaming.

What equipment will I train on?

Professional vision mixers, multiview monitoring, talkback intercom, audio consoles and graphics systems, plus streaming encoders for remote production modules.

How big are the groups?

Between six and eight trainees per course so everyone gets regular time on the desk and in the director’s chair.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. Every course ends with a certificate of completion and, on the director and professional tracks, a recording of your own programme.

Can you train my whole team?

Yes. We run private training days for production companies, universities, venues and corporate AV teams. Contact us with your goals and headcount.

How do I book a place?

Send us a message from the contacts page. An adviser will confirm dates, answer your questions and hold your place.
